everActive CBC-5 is a completely new model that replaces the CBC-4 - compared to its predecessor, the charging algorithm is improved - now the charging process is divided into as many as 9 stages, in addition, the end of the main charging occurs after the constant voltage charging phase with a smooth by reducing the charging current, which results in a higher battery charge level.

The charger is intelligent, controlled by a microprocessor - when fully charged, it automatically switches off and goes into voltage control mode - 100% safe for any battery.
The efficiency of our charger is comparable to the charging process in leading professional devices (even several times more expensive) - regular use of a smart charger does not negatively affect the performance of batteries, on the contrary, it extends their life!

The charger is not only intended for high-performance car batteries - thanks to carefully developed charging programs, it is also suitable for gel, motorcycle, yacht batteries or scooter batteries of smaller capacity.

Unlimited possibilities - our charger is equipped with a unique, separate cable with a SAE quick coupler. This allows the charger to be perfectly adapted to your installation when the included alligator cables and eye terminals are not enough.

The charger uses pioneering solutions:

  • automatic and reliable battery charge control - when a certain voltage is reached or when the charging current drops automatically,
  • voltage control after charging - automatic continuation of charging in the event of a battery voltage drop,
  • the charger eliminates the bridging of batteries that can occur during charging,
  • "Winter" mode - ensures full and efficient battery charging, even at b. low ambient temperature - provides a higher charging voltage than standard,
  • "reactivation/revival" mode - a special charging method - in the case of very discharged batteries, the charger supplies a limited charging current with single pulses until a safe voltage is reached, which enables faster charging - the charger itself decides the need to use this method,
  • disconnect cable equipped with a quick connector, allows you to adapt the charger to your needs, standard equipment includes crocodile tips and eye terminals,
  • charger equipped with a set to protect against short circuit, against improper connection of poles, against overheating, overload, overcharging, etc.
The CBC 5 charger is designed for 6V/12V gel, lead-acid, AGM, VRLA, VLA, SLA, WET, GEL, lead-acid batteries. Charging is automatic, multi-stage. The charging mode, the operation of the charger is shown on the backlit LCD screen.

The first step is to measure and display the voltage at the battery terminals and determine its type. For a 12V battery, by pressing the "MODE" button, you can select the charging program (0.8A/3.8A) as well as the "winter" mode, which is characterized by a higher charging voltage (this is also the default recommended charging mode for many modern AGM batteries ). The battery condition is evaluated and reactivated if necessary (only for severely discharged cells) - charging with reduced current with single pulses.
The next step is basic charging - depending on the charging method with a maximum power of 0.8A or 3.8A.
The next steps are the control of the charging process - when the voltage on the battery increases, the charging current decreases.
In the final stage of charging, the current is smoothly limited to 0.5A - this is an excellent protection against the phenomenon of "gassing" of the battery. When the voltage reaches 14.4V/14.8V (for 12V battery) and 7.3V (for 6V battery), main charging is complete.
The end of the stage is the phase of monitoring the voltage on the battery - in the event of a longer leak of the charger connected to the battery and the voltage drops to 13.1V/12.8V (for a 12V battery), the charger turns on support charging to prevent further discharge or suscuculación of the battery.
